i like this version the best:

http://www.archive.org/details/gd1972-08-27.sbd.latvala-eaton-lutch-dankseed.4682.shnf

it doesn't have all the funny stage banter but its the best sounding copy i've heard.

and what is there to say about this absolutely transcendent show that already hasn't been said at some point? probably not much. while there is plenty of subjective debate about what the greatest dead show of all time is, imho this is a strong contender...

i dig the poem btw...

CC , 38 years ago . That's a big number . Does anyone know the temp. that day ?
The highlights for me are the Bird Song , GSET , D/S -> EP & SMBH . The whole show , Wow .
Has anyone ever seen the whole , uncut , Sunshine Daydream ?

I think the one I have is uncut - it will be getting an anniversary viewing later tonight.

Believe it or not I got mine from Amazon in spite of several people pointing out it wasn;t a legitimate release. Tie-dye yellow and green sleeve excellent quality and cot about 15 dollars.

It's all good . Has that vibe , that feel . Those are the consistent face melters and balls out R&R .
Cornell may have the numbers , but Veneta has the guns ( a little play on Five to One , twisted about of course ).

If there is an example of Jerry playing faster than that, I have not heard it! Definately my favorite performance of Bertha!

Jim, are you going to see the Rhythm Devils at the Blue Point Brewery on Sunday?
